I'd rather play the first team who started against WHU than those just below who will be hungry to put in a performance. As you say this first team are under real pressure and who knows what could happen if we were to nick the first goal.

They alternated between Lingard and James up front once Rashford went off, so I guess both are possibilities. Realistically, despite their woes at present, whatever team United put out should dispatch us without effort. Look how much better City U21s were than our reserve side recently. United’s kids and reserves should have more than enough for us.
Of course, we also said that about Spurs and look what happened there, against their first team!
