BBC article by Mark Hodgkinson on 10:01 - Sep 25 with 1015 views | DiddyDave | The bit that says,"Spotland had been sold to the departing chairman whose company had gone bust",I take it this refers to Fred Ratcliffe? I don`t want to cause a riot here,or glorify summat that may or may not have happened, but was the arrival of Hornets, with a truck load of cash following the sale of their Athletic Grounds,a major factor in preventing Dale going to the wall? Just asking. | | | |
