Dale v Wycombe Lowlights on 12:11 - Sep 29 by Daley_Lama | The rollocking was because he and most Dale players thought the ball had gone out for a throw in and stopped whiles’t Wycombe played to the whistle. Both of the first 2 goals were awful decisions. Third was a bit unlucky. |
Just a bad day at the office for almost everyone . First goal is awful... players appealing for the throw in when it's clearly not. Static central defenders plus I'm sure Keohane hasn't a clue that their winger is behind him, and finally, Sanchez is in no mans land. Their first effort of note. Second Goal MJW out muscled, and Sanchez is in no mans land. Their second effort of note. Third goal MJW gives the ball away, the cross comes back off the post, hits Calvin in the mush and bounces kindly to them. All three could and should have been prevented. However, that would have made it 0-0 as the only time we came close to scoring was Jim's header in the first half. we were so shot shy when near goal, and also so unable to actually get in shooting positions in the first place. Only Ollie and RND can hold their heads up after yesterday. Rubbish team tactics and players being played out of position cost us yesterday. That's down to bad management, and an over cautious approach from the Board in not sanctioning monies to sign better options upfront and cover at centre back. Our home form is awful once again, and the increased admission charges need to be scrapped, or we will be playing infront of sub 2000 crowds soon. | |
