I shall dig out my Cream album and listen to the extended Toad track. A drum solo without equal.

R.I.P. Ginger.

Yeah, Badge is my favourite Cream track.

It meanders, explodes, reigns itself in, does all that again and has a wonderfully subtle brilliant psychedelic lead break.

It starts to hit home when all your childhood heroes are leaving. Cream were such a huge influence growing up.

Never really reached the dizzy heights of stardom after cream.
Very powerful drummer who had talent via the bucket load..

Always looked under weight to me........

Got a mate to pirate a CD copy of Cream Live at the Albert Hall,2005. Magnificent concert although of course it was bits from the six or seven nights they played. I think Clapton calls him Peter George Baker, wonderful drummer in a wonderful band. Just needs Eric to pop his clogs to reunite with Ginger and Jack Bruce and get Cream re-established in Rock n Roll Heaven.

I remember going to watch the film of the original Albert Hall concert at the Regal or the Odeon. The camerawork gave me tremendous headache. All that zooming back and forth on the screen. It was bloody awful.
