They gave him longer than I thought. Another poisoned chalice.

Never have much sympathy for the managers in these cases. They get a nice payoff.....take a few week off.....pop up in the next vacancy that comes along.....repeat process.

The fans of these so called big clubs don't learn. Yes they have a big stadium and a sizeable fan base. But they have had to cut budgets to cope with life in Div one. There is uproar in the Chronicle tonight that the proposed takeover of the club has stalled and the same fans suggesting they won't continue to support the club until it is sold......to a wealthy consortium of course. Deluded

And they have millions to play with whilst they have the jobs at clubs like that.

Owners panicking. Probably in a bit of financial bother if they don't go up this year.

Poll: What are we more excited for?

He’ll be back in Scotland in two shakes of a haggis’ tail.

Hearts seems the logical move should Levein step aside, but, with Levein also being on the board, and bad blood between the two, it might not be straightforward.

Could he be a target for Hibs as well? They're not exactly off to a flyer and some people are tipping Heckingbotton for a possible return to the newly vacated position at Barnsley.

All aboard the managerial merry-go-round.....

Potential there, too, although ‘Heck’s’ strong start last season, and his recent results, will go in his favour.

Apparently he’s a ‘tricky’ character, though. Apparently.

Quite agree

I’d expect Pompey to eject Kenny J soon also

Pompey. Another club living on its' history. They've been in this division so long now, that they are actually where they belong. They've made it their home.

Big egos, big wages, average team.

I know, but we don't have the opinion that we are 'better' than the division we're in. Some of the crap their fans come out with is ridiculous.

They need to realise where they are and accept they're as sh!te as everyone else thinks they are.

Oh!

I've always found their fans quite apposite on visits to Fratton Park in the last few seasons.

To be fair it is only eleven years since they won the FA Cup!

Clearly (or as it turns out, not so clear!), Fitzo's op contains text from elsewhere but I'm unable to see it. It's happened on other threads also. Don't know if settings need changing somewhere?

Help appreciated.

YOU do not have the right to give someone else permission to tell me what I can and can't do.
