With Stanley up against the league’s form team Burton, a good win tomorrow could move us up a place away from the relegation quagmire.
We may have a new striker or two on show, happen ?

Big 8 days coming up. 3 matches, 2 at home (which used to be our strength but sadly, apparently, not any more) and all three opponents currently in the bottom half.

Let's hope we have a bigger pool of players to choose from and we can get some much needed points after a couple of away losses.

Looking forward to tomorrow and the possibility of seeing Hendo having a new strike partner?

Edit: nearly everyone back to full fitness (Camps and Sanchez still out)

Be interesting to see what the line up is tomorrow with so many players back.

Home win, surely? For the love of God, please. Gillingham home/away is possibly the least attractive fixture every season. Only a win can give a silver lining.

Oh I don't know...…… for me Gillingham is a long standing fixture going back to when I first started watching in the late 60's so has a nostalgic/traditional footballing feel to it - like Hartlepool/Halifax/Shrewsbury/Torquay/Scunthorpe etc. Still want a win of course.

Reading between the lines, most are back ready to play, but not sure how many are match fit and have 90 mins in their legs. I suspect selection will still be somewhat hampered by this, but hope to be wrong and our strongest 11 play.

I have always looked upon this fixture as a dour one, usually a draw. Hoping yo be proven wrong this time round.

I don't really recall Gillingham as being traditional opponents.
Torquay and Exeter yes.
It might be my imagination but I seem to remember in the 1960's that we played more northern teams than southern ones?

John Akinde has just signed for Gillingham from Lincoln.

We played Gillingham in our first two seasons in the third tier from 1969, after a gap of 5 years, and then not again until 1989

Remarkable, especially as they have the lowest budget in League 1:

For Dale?

Doubt you meant that, though.

Undoubted knowledge? Or just the application of common sense and using my brain?

Options from the bench, what is going on? It will interesting to see Smith play. Hopefully he will just what we need to take the goalscoring pressure off Hendo.
