Quite surprised that there has been little mention of O'Connell's crock.
At first it looked like it was cramp but he seemed to indicate more of a groin strain when the physio ran on.
Whatever the injury,he is a huge miss from our starting line up and Big Jim for all his talents is not a straight swap.

Jim did ok when he came on aside from the awful pass that led to their second.
If O'Connell was to be out for any length of time, it's better he's out now when our next two games are Pompey away and Rotherham at home as I've prepared to get precisely zero points there. The Tranmere game after it however is huge. |  |
