They’re not even the best in Whitby.

They're the most expensive!
| When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf? |

I thought that, very overpriced. The piano bar on the quayside does fab fish and seafood

Would have been fun watching them try to snort a kebab.

Quayside is better. But it’s more a case of the Magpie having some strange sort of pull where people would queue for an hour outside just to get in. Bit like the Bridge but more seagulls and less kebabs/Irish curry.

Are the kebabs that good? on 17:08 - May 4 with 928 views | Thacks_Rabbits | Solomon’s and the Halifax road kebab shop were bloody awesome when I lived there, the one next door to Solomon’s was also great. Can’t remember the name but donner meat was a bit rubbery, but bloody nice, was the one farthest away from taxi rank. Think it changed owners and went downhill. Never found anywhere other than Rochdale where the hot yogurt sauce is anywhere near as good. Whitworth rd had a decent chippy and Chinese as well, but the Chinese in whitworth was awesome, happy kitchen I think it was called, the special was a mix of everything with a fried egg on top!

Are the kebabs that good? on 17:18 - May 4 with 913 views | deeplishblue | Always thought the best donner kebabs were from the milkstone road kebab house. Not had one for a few years though since I heard that Donner meat is made from "lamb skirts" which can be 40% fat. Regarding travelling for a takeaway, there is a kebab house in Blackpool called the Armenian kebab house which has been open since the 1970s not saying I would drive there just to get one, but it comes into the reckoning when deciding where to go for a day out.
