Clicked onto this expecting it to be related to the BLM thread from the subject!

Interesting see so many cases where they don't seem to have symptoms. We're not sure as an office whether we had it in Feb, in retrospect.

What's the accuracy of the testing? There will probably be a few false positives in 2.5K tests.
If it's 98% accurate 2% of 2500 is 50.

As I understand it, it’s similar to a pregnancy test - false negatives can happen but if it’s positive, then you’re positive.

That's what happens when you gather to 'protect statues' without proper social distancing.

Between 4 & 5% of tests are false positives.

My father is 85, a chronic asthmatic, diabetic and has Parkinson’s so tick all the wrong boxes. He had a test 18 days ago ahead of a medical procedure but tested positive. It was a real shock as he had sheltered for 3 months. He has had no symptoms whatsoever and neither has my mother. He has test another teston Monday.

I hope he sails through it, with no after effects. So far, so good.

Yes, I have a 94 year old former neighbour now in a nursing home who has had and recovered from a recent bout of pneumonia without being hit with the virus. And when we speak to him its as if nothing has happened.

Amazing the resilience of some of these folks. Long may it continue.
