Come on, it's nice to know there's a safe place for no one to go.

Poll: What is it to be then?

Other clubs starting to announce their approach to the great unknown:

The signing of players seems to be gathering momentum with Bolton adding another to their ranks (George Taft), one that I would have shortlisted as being a potential realistic target while our manager is still furloughed I believe.

If I hadn't seen such riches, I could live with being poor

Rumour has it that our playing budget is being reduced from £2.25 million to £1.75 million next season. Emphasis will be on what we have and youth.

Lots of teams will be doing the same thing in my opinion.

But other teams are optimistic - or rash - enough to be signing players on 2-3 year contracts:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/transfers

By now I'd expected Hendo, and Camps, to have been signed.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was actually less than that. It won't leave BBM any room to negotiate, especially as several of the already contracted players will be on decent money.

I don't know if BBM is actually furloughed or not, but surely, his is the one position that should be back at work by now?

Still boils down to that at present we have no income

I think there's a real risk of alot of teams not meeting FFP in LG1 and LG2 this upcoming season because it's near impossible for the clubs to predict what gate receipts they'll get. I hope the EFL puts in some sort of freedom without letting clubs go crazy. Eg clubs who work on a budget the same or less than last year won't be punished. Anyone with an increased budget that don't meet FFP gets punished (maybe?).

Poll: What are we more excited for?

That is roughly a £33.5k weekly budget....
A squad of 18 players gives a weekly wage of £1600.....

Tough indeed....

Loan market will get hamnered this season..

The same applies to virtually every other club outside the championship, many of which are still very active in the transfer market

Rumour from where?
