The most gutting thing about our paper thin squad that lacks quality, is seeing the likes of camps & hendo start the season on fire.
Camps banging them in for Fleetwood playing in the position he likes best just behind the striker.
Just shows how much we wasted his talents constantly playing him in that stupid holding role in front of the defence.
Hendo doing what he does best scoring goal on a regular basis.

Not sure it's about 'letting' anything happen.
If the Club made contract offers to both, that's all it can do. It cannot force anyone to sign anything. Both players preferred to take their chances elsewhere, and good luck to them.
Not the Club's fault if its financial offer does not compare well with those made by others.
We just need to get behind those who have chosen to play here rather than elsewhere. |  | | |

They're two good players now playing in better teams with respect to the league they're in. They were always going to do well. Camps played in a more forward role for us last year and probably didn't get as many appearances as he'd like but his assists and goals per game for us when we were so close to the drop was pretty impressive.
Also looks like he's played more on the left tonight for Fleetwood with the ball he's the left of a front 3 and without the ball he's covering just in front of the full back.
The only slight frustration I have with Camps is that we didn't get any money for him but then we got plenty of years of football from him so I suppose we can't complain. | |

Camps and Hendo were both great servants for Rochdale football club - I'm sure both could have left many times before they actually did. They've both contributed massively to our success staying in lge 1 and in our cup adventures.Good luck to them both. Like the previous posted said, the only negative is Camps leaving on a free transfer as he's still relatively young and has the talent to go higher. |  |

To be fair Henderson’s tally to date this season does include a few penalties.
I remember a fairly vitriolic thread on here a few years ago when several people weren’t happy with his percentage record from the spot and demanded that someone else be given the role.
If he’d scored the penalties he missed with Dale he would have smashed Reg’s record easily. | | | |

For a fair comparison you would need to factor in Reg's penalty misses too. I have vague recollections of one or two sailing over the sandy lane stand never to be seen again. So if he hadn't missed any his goal tally would have been higher as well. | | | |
