Evidently enjoyed his time with Rochdale but I also think it shows that Hill was a changed man in his latter years with Dale but the story Ramsden tells, I just don't see Hill doing anything like that in his second spell, or at least the back end of it. Maybe I'm wrong.

I quite liked how "normal" he was and just a lad living out his dream, yes he got into some scrapes mainly linked to drink it sounds like,but seemed very down to earth, something that can't be said about many footballers these days.
Interesting to hear what seemed to be the best time for team spirit,results etc and the run through a brick wall type of attitude coincided with them all (manager included) going out on the piss together. | | | |
