Cloughie Statue - update
As mentioned last month, donations are still being accepted for the statue in place to honour legendary Dale supporter David Clough.

You can contribute it two ways:....

The Just Giving page has a target... it has been exceeded which was great news. People who would maybe consider a donation would look & think job done there & move on to another worthy cause.

Has no one thought of raising the bar to say £15k??

I brought this up on p6 of the pinned statue thread.

The just giving page states: The target was increased again on 1st February to £10,000 and will remain at this level now until the campaign finishes. If football fans we can help us exceed this new target, the quality of the statue will enable fans to pay a lasting tribute to a Dale Legend.

If 10k is enough for a statue (no idea?), I'm not sure why the Trust would need to contribute further?
