Vote of confidence: Is David Bottomley a suitable CEO for the club in League 2? on 17:56 - Oct 17 by RAFCBLUE
Now 147 - 12
Three more votes for!
Maybe worth updating the question to '...suitable CEO for any football club at any level?'
Just in case Mr Bottomley has chosen to apply for vacancies such as the recent AFC Fylde position. & just in case a club like AFC Fylde checked places such as this messageboard to get reviews and feedback on candidates for their vacant position.

According to Linkedin, our former CEO is now officially a 'Professional Director looking for new opportunities'.
This seems sector agnostic rather than linked directly to 'elite sport' - we wonder why.

What's a Professional Director?
It might be thought that people who become Directors do so through some kind of specialist knowledge or ability. The concept of being a Director looking for an opportunity (i.e. an opportunist) is anathema as far as i'm concerned

In this case, one can see the sole motive of the profession is to serve the self-interest of said director at all times to the exclusion of all other requirements or moral scruples.

Based on the information within that link, it could be argued that characters such as Faical Safouane and Denise Valarie Courtnell are professional directors.

Now 158-13.
Amazing that are people still voting given the date of the OP.
Where is he these days? He used to say he's been coming here for 50 years. Another lapsed fan. He's the same as all those who once excitedly claimed to be fans - when they have to pay in, they don't come. Likewise Rawlinson. Brookes. Ashworth. Fagin. The list is probably endless.
On the weekend of a televised FA Cup game where it's £10 for adults, £5 for concessions and just £1 for children, worth reflecting that the current poll says it's:

Perhaps, at just £10 a ticket, he and those other lapsed fans will be tempted back?
George Bernard Shaw had it right:
"He who can does; he who cannot, teaches."

The interesting thing about that is that since December 3rd when the score was 159-13, a further three people have voted FOR David Bottomley.
It's as if a propaganda machine has been whirred into action.
Exposing Bottomley for what he was is the best thing that the supporters trust and supporters of this club have done in my Dale supporting lifetime.
A year ago the largest ever vote of no confidence was passed by shareholders in a serving CEO and he was, rightly, dumped off the board of the club.
A further three people is more likely 1 person registering 3 times in order to cast a vote. Probably a Bottomley supporter. DB2? FF1?
All Bottomley supporters are tvvats. Kudos to Judd, the lone voice many years ago who honed in on what we all should have seen. He only saw it because he's gained wisdom with years, and he's got many years!
