https://www.theguardian.com/football/2021/jul/16/no-manager-not-enough-players-h

Here's what happens to your club when you pay for your son to play, whilst assisting others in its downfall.

This is a tale of woe from the Guardian about the plight of Swindon Town.

I am sure the EFL will go to town on people like Andy Curran and Lee Power when all of the evidence of mismanagement at Swindon comes to the fore. As will other authorities.

But he does drive a Rolls Royce Cullinan!

How can anyone prepared to sell to someone like this call themselves a fan, let alone a 'life long one.'

You could imagine, if by some ill-luck that Curran had succeeded or still manage to succeed in taking over the Dale, then you could see people like Power once he is kicked out of Swindon, being appointed to run Rochdale.

The EFL, fans and even the government must ensure that scam artists like these are banned from any involvement in football. We have seen for example, Day and Dale at Bury, the Vaughans at both Chester (where his son was given a contract) and Barrow,, and of course there is Alkadhi. Amar Alkadhi, it must be remembered destroyed Macclesfield and ended the league status by not paying the wages on time, a scenario being played out at Swindon by Currans associate Power. How can these people be allowed as directors of any businesses, never mind a business essential to a community, which a football club can be.

Somebody associated with the Club engaged with them and are obviously prepared to sell their shares to them. An ex Chairman and two Directors/ CEO..obviously. Mention Jarvis/ Curran/ Swindon in the same breath and you know what you are dealing with..most of English football know now and the EFL certainly do, they couldn’t get their statement out quick enough. Our friends from Swindon are sounding the alarm bells loud and clear. That scrutiny will now intensify, these are men interested in destroying lower league football clubs for financial gain, they will move from club to club. Poor Swindon.

Those who have promised their shares, never loved this Club, if you love something you cherish it you don’t destroy it. Families have fall outs but you find a way to make things better, you don’t seek out somebody to kill it off forever. It makes you wonder what their family members think, you swear a undying love and then when things don’t go your way you just discard it like a piece of rubbish..what a terrible example to set.It comes down to morals and anybody who sells the Club, staff and fans down the River is sadly lacking in them. Sell your shares by all means but let those who love the Club have first opportunity, that would be the right thing to do.

Hopefully karma catches up with a former CEO sooner rather than later.

Nowt to worry about at Swindon:

https://talksport.com/football/efl/913057/swindon-takeover-lee-power-clem-morfun

...and if you believe that.. On the other hand, once Morfuni gets the club, it will mean Power is then free to throw his weight behind the other 'ne'er do well's' lurking in the shadows at Spotland.

Unless the EFL are awake to the threat.

The ex CEO will know whether or not he has always acted in the Clubs best interest throughout his time at the Club. If he’s done things wrong then he should hold his hands up, nobody is perfect. The whole BBM contract scenario, why was that not brought out into the open at the time, the fans deserved to know that. The alleged massive pay rise he received during a pandemic that saw people losing their jobs and furloughed. Nurses and others up to their necks in it putting their life’s on the line, everybody pulling together to get through the emergency. Our club starved of finances with no supporters coming through the turnstiles. If the strong rumours are true that he received a pay rise of anything between seven and ten times the national average during that period ( about 20% or even more) then that in itself is enough to cast shame on him. That would indicate a man with no conscience or moral compass and was enough to remove him at the EGM. Forget all the other whispers that are circulating about him.

Now we have the wolfs at the door who have obviously been courted by Bottomley/ Kilpatrick/ Rawlinson and they are in possession of shareholders personal details, a unacceptable situation in itself, how did that happen? Like I said it comes down to morals and how you live your life. Selling out to the devil is their prerogative but there will be consequences for them if they do because the truth will always out and some of the things that have taken place at the club and been swept under the carpet will come into the public domain, there are a lot of angry people connected to the Club at the moment, including every shareholder. Anybody with a bit of sense would pick up the phone and sell their shares to the people who love the Club and ride off into the sunset quietly, draw a line under all this nonsense.

You mean to say he drives it himself? How very infra dig! Clearly a bounder if he doesn't have a driver! Even FS Ratcliffe had a driver.

We need the press to expose these charlatans for the shysters they are and force the EFL to reject them as fit and proper people, and force them away from our Club.

Lee Power and Andrew Curran gone from Swindon Town and the fallout begins.

Gareth Barry the first charged for loaning money.

The FA must have a list as long as their arm of threads to various investigations.

Some interesting developments disclosed today in the press re: Swindon Town:

https://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/news/23039627.swindon-town-winding-up-petiti

" Swindon Town believes the amount it owes to a company attempting to have it wound up is much lower than claimed.

Centreplate UK are attempting to have Swindon Town Football Company wound-up, claiming the company that runs the County Ground club owes it around £312,000.

They successfully applied to take over a winding-up petition started by AC Sports Wiltshire LLC, also known as Able, after that company’s attempts were dismissed by a judge earlier this year"

No winding-up petitions are listed and AC Sports Wiltshire LLC was published here:
https://www.thegazette.co.uk/notice/3939555/

The address given for AC SPORTS WILTSHIRE LLC (FORMERLY AC SPORTS, LLC), is 28 Old Rudnick Lane, Dover DW 19901, USA

Dover in DELAWARE

Guiseppe! Guiseppe! Where are you Guiseppe!

Back to the article:

At a previous hearing at London’s Insolvency and Companies Court, it was heard that Swindon Town Football Company had entered into a loan agreement with Able in November 2019 of £100,000 with the intention of using the funds to pay overhead costs and staff wages. It was not to be used to pay other creditors.

But on receipt of the funds, Mr Power paid himself back.

Town had argued that the loan agreement was a sham.

Judge Baister said in his ruling: “A fuller story of how the loan was treated from time to time has only emerged as a result of opposition to the petition.

“That leads me to suspect that even more might emerge if full and proper disclosure… is given and the witnesses are cross-examined."

Now Delaware is an interesting place.

A bit like in England you can search for a company.

You can too in the US of A!

Step 1:

Step 2:
AC SPORTS WILTSHIRE LLC

Step 3:
Click Search

Step 4:
Pay your USD $20

Step 5:
Bingo

I hope the EFL are watching what is going on at Swindon and hopefully Judge Baister might get to do some cross examining!

Altogether now:
