Makes it even clearer that we should be backing the club's resolution at the EGM... diluting the holding of Morton House, Andy Curran, Darrell Rose, Matt Southall OR the previous directors (depending on who legally owns the 42%).

Well now some of the Board's strategy is becoming clear - though it's unfortunate to hear about it from the Press rather than directly from Simon Gauge.

So the pre-emption rights are going to be removed thus preventing MH /Southall from buying any of the new issue (which would then dilute their holding ... & the Trust's or any other existing shareholder).

Also means new money is going to be needed from new shareholders (not just the new directors) so maybe there are some new 'investors' on the horizon.

That's a good question James.

Can anyone explain this?

The last I heard was that the club had received no formal notification of the original share transfer to Morton House, so how can the second stage take place if the first hasn't? Or is Southall buying direct from the original sellers rather than from Morton House?

I've not been paying full attention tbf.

Not sure why your comment was marked down.

If I buy a share of a property unless my name is on the deeds I don't own a share of that property. As far as I can ascertain from previous comments on the matter Morton House have a 42% share of the vote on what can be done with 'The Property' but The Dale Trust have secured over 50% so any proposals by MH or MS will get voted down

How can we ensure or stop these tw*ts buying any new shares issued by the club and can the club and EFL refuse him a seat on the board. Not that he would pass the EFL 'F & P' test, having been found guilty by a judge after seeking to control Charlton by removing the other directors from the controlling board without their knowledge, which is fraud.
