The release of a new website built by Charlton fans has been brought forward, with the intention of helping us fight off Southall and his cronies.

Its a fantastic piece of work and gives real detail into what Southall & co got up to there, and also has a long list of names for us to watch out for (take a look at the 'minor characters' tab for example).

They've been fantastically supportive of us on social media, in private, & we believe with the trust too.

The website is well worth a visit - www.thecharltondossier.com

Today in England, it’s possible to buy a famous football club for £1, drain it of cash, and bring it to within days of administration.

That's the problem summed up. The EFL need to act on that part of it and worry less about the impact of a club that has overstretched itself (e.g. Derby) and let the natural rhythm of promotion and relegation solve that.

My first visit to Charlton was in the FA Cup when Holty score and we lost 4-1 but they have always come across as a good set of fans and treated us, a smaller club, with a lot of respect when we have played them.

I do hope the fixtures allow us another game against them.

In time, it might be possible for Dale to add our own experience to this type of resource

Great credit to Charlton for their help and this initiative. A generic website with the cumulative experience of any club who've been involved in fighting an existential threat would be a very powerful tool

The report into this business by Tracy Crouch is also due, but confidence tricksters won't just disappear. Collective wisdom is needed

Highly commendable dossier throwing further light on the issue that fans are the true gatekeepers at the lucky clubs where the parasites are prevented entry, and the EFL are just pathologists conducting post mortems on corpses when it's all too late. That cannot be allowed to continue.

Up the Dale - NOT for sale!

The dossier was interesting and reveals the dodgy backgrounds of the people involved, and poses the question, 'how can the EFL allow them to be involved in football in any capacity'. The EFL should you pose a threat to a clubs existence and will not be allowed to run a club.

Bassini - bankrupted was it twice, but still sought to run two clubs
Farnell - why is he so secret about his early career.
Southall - with quotes like 'we can make some dough out of this' to Bassini and looking to pass the cost of borrowing money to buy his share onto the books of Charlton. Even Bassini admitted Southall had limited resources to pay back his debt.
I forgot which one tried to sell a range rover to a Mr Jones, which belong to Charlton and was not his to sell.

This dossier should be required reading at the EFL, FA, The Department for Culture, media & Sport, besides HMRC.

Good evening from The Valley, everyone!

Thanks for your kind words about the website. For our part we are really delighted to be able to help your fight in whatever way we can. This sort of event, where one of our wrong'uns turns up elsewhere, is one reason why we set the site up. We'd also like to say that we've been really impressed by the way you guys have organised yourselves, done your research, and seen the value of sharing information with us. Gotta say, it's in contrast with Wigan (where the fans were generally friendly, but we could not find a group that wanted to share stuff) and Bury, where we walked into a civil war -very sad to see. Burnley was a result though, it only took one fan, well connected, to get our dossiers on Farnell and El Kashashy into the boardroom, and their bid was toast.

Anyway we've been picking up some very useful stuff from your forum - currently we are looking in disbelief at the Sports Media Consultancy website - Lordy, what a load of old pony - so we thought it would be polite to sign up and stay in touch. Stay strong guys. Southall isn't the smartest...

I suspect Charlton are a much bigger version of us.

On the periphery of huge clubs, but with a dedicated fanbase. Birds of a feather.

Poll: Who do you think bury should appoint as their next manager?

You Charlton chaps have done a brilliant job. Thanks for your help.
If you haven't noted from other posts on here (understandable) , Southall has said nothing since "claiming" to own 25% of the shares in RAFC, and not a word since his lying, threatening e mail to the club of 3rd October. It was ignored by RAFC, our EGM was supported by shareholders and his alleged "25%" won't be worth a leaf on the ground in due course, if he even owns it.
You know, we know, and everyone he dares to taint will know he's an irrelevance. A self-serving scoundrel. Like Roger was here. Roger will never lose our ire either. Nor will Tvvat Southall. Or living at mummy and daddy's house Alex Jarvis. And a few others.

Good luck for the season, CAFC.
