On 1 October, the Dale Trust spoke to Matthew Southall, disgraced ex-Charlton Chairman and the Trust reported: He stated a number of times throughout the hour long zoom call that this was a deal between himself and Morton House, and that no other approach had been made for the shares.
It's now the 6th November. Five weeks and no sign of any money from Matthew Southall, no sign of any shares and no sign of Morton House who are hiding from the EFL's investigators no doubt.
The only thing that has happened since then is a BBC article which was so wrong the BBC took it down and rewrote it.
RAFC achieved something that Prince Andrew, Owen Patterson and Boris Johnson couldn't, getting the BBC to remove a story - even if arrogant Simon Stone could not admit he was wrong to have penned it in the first place.
So where is our Dubai based hero Matthew? It's all gone suspiciously quiet from a man who likes the good things in life; ask Charlton fans about the expensive luxury central London flat overlooking the Thames or a Range Rover and they will tell you how he used Charlton as a cover for some rather expensive tastes.
Yet, a little bit like Andrew Kirk Curran, there is very little in the public domain about Matthew and his business interests - because he doesn't actually touch anything or have any money to touch anything with.
His partner Jade Katy McManus however is quite the businesswoman. Born in September 1991 and a law graduate of Newcastle University, the 30 year-old mum has lots and lots of appointments.
CURRENT APPOINTMENTS: 1. August Rae Developments Limited (registered company number: 13398441) - incorporated in May 2021 - net worth unknown
2. 17Media Ltd (registered company number: 09830875) - incorporated in October 2015 - net LIABILITIES of £18.852 at October 2019. No accounts since.
3. Love2BeHome Ltd (registered company number: 11206554) incorporated in February 2018 - net worth £1 as at February 2019. No accounts since.
RESIGNED APPOINTMENTS:
4. Live Lusso Aesthetics Limited (registered company number: 10700280) - incorporated in March 2017 - dissolved in April 2019. No accounts ever filed.
5. Sports Media Consultancy Limited (registered company number: 11645603) - incorporated in October 2018 - net work £1 as at October 2019. No accounts since and now dissolved.
So 5 companies since March 2017, two dissolved and three still alive with overall net liabilities of £18k.
It's not the greatest success record you would see at business. If Jade went on the Apprentice I'm sure it would be commented on that she "doesn't have a bleedin' clue!"
Then there is the fact that Jade Katy McManus is named by Optimus Build Limited as a party in a lost court case over building works on 11 December 2020.
Jade McManus, like Morton House, seems to like to move around. In the last few years her five businesses have operated from:
A. 5 Alderley Road, Wilmslow, United Kingdom, SK9 1HY B. 264 Leigh Road, Worsley, Leigh Road, Manchester, United Kingdom, M28 1LF. This is the address where Optimus Build Limited court case win was about. C. 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU. A favourite operating address of Denise Valerie Courtnell. D. Kemp House, 160 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX - a virtual office E. 63-66, Hatton Garden, London, England, EC1N 8LE - another virtual office.
Currently "SUPERWOMAN" at only August Rae Investments. Not bad for a former jewellery shop salesperson and 10 months insurance accountant who shacked up with Matthew Southall.
August Rae investments doesn't seem to actually be able to invest in something - no deals, no pedigree. They have a lot in common with Alexander Jarvis and Blackbridge Sports Limited.
There's only one superwoman in football and she has a message for Matthew Southall:
I actually doubt Southall has more than two bob and like a lot of the Instagram generation he's quite good a taking a couple of pictures and putting them on Twitter but actually doesn't have a business.

- A genuine attempt to buy the shares from Morton House & make himself some money from the club? - A favour to Morton House to distract from whatever else they were planning to do? - A favour to Alexander Jarvis, who we believe he has known for a while? - An attempt on behalf of AJ / MH to rattle Dale fans, draw out some online abuse and help paint AJ/MH as the good guys? - Part of a wider strategy to circumvent the OADT, working alongside MH? - A genuine interest in developing a not particularly glamorous league 2 club for the good of the fans / club? - Something else entirely?
One thing we think is nailed on - whatever his motive for getting involved, he'll be regretting it. It brought forward the release of the brilliant Charlton dossier; it directly resulted in a formal bankruptcy petition against him & his mrs; it has brought lots of interesting information to light about his mrs' business dealings; it lost any shred of credibility he may have had when he threatened high court action that never materialised; it further galvanised our fanbase and probably helped drive the rapid uptake of the new share issue; it got his name out in the public domain a lot more, and meant that his misdemeanours at Charlton are now known by a much wider audience; it ramped up the pressure on his mate Alexander, who took to lashing out and making multiple legal threats online... and that's just the start.
Its been said multiple times by lots of different people - but, with mates like AJ, who needs enemies?
This is the legal title to the house that Jade McManus owns and which is the subject of the dispute with Optimus Build Limited.
It's a 999 leasehold title, so effective freehold and she paid £900,000 in October 2019.
The property is in her sole name, although she was in a relationship with Matt Southall at the time of the purchase and the court documents are clear from Optimus Build Limited that they jointly engaged the builder.
The property has a mortgage secured on it from Together Personal Finance Limited which means she doesn't own it outright. That mortgage was taken at the time of purchase in October 2019.
There are then two equitable charges against the property:
1. Academy Leasing Limited - 17th February 2020 2. Optimus Build Limited - 13th April 2021
So, Jade McManus is worth:
The value of the property - lets say £900,000 less the value of the mortgage - unknown less the charge to Academy Leasing Limited - unknown less the charge to Optimus Build Limited
Based on Morton House paying £1.2m for 40% of the club, 25% must be worth £750,000.
Looks like Jade might have to lend her partner a few quid as on paper he does not have a proverbial pot to p*ss in.

Southall is a better grade of chancer than Alexander Jarvis.
From the moment in July that Alexander Jarvis leaked all of the data he had been sent from his IT devices, exposing Andrew Kirk Curran, Darrell Rose, ex-employees of the club and many others in the process, it was clear who was dealing with who and when.
Jarvis then turned up in the back of a rented Rolls Royce Cullinan with Andrew Curran to meet the then Board in July and that was the point he had fully implicated Curran and the ex-employees of the club.
The EFL charges were inevitable as was the "fake news" that spewed out of media sites; Jarvis remember was the one who ACTIVELY phone the Daily Telegraph to defend Andrew Curran, who is up now on two misconduct charges from the FA.
Southall is a different animal. He had managed to get into Charlton Athletic on the basis he had wealth but didn't.
In March 2020 he admitted to CAST (the Charlton Supporters Trust) that without outside investment Charlton could only get to Christmas 2020.
They and he are going to look right daft when he has to withdraw because he hasn't got any funding.
For what its worth, IMO neither has the funds to retrieve a hasty and botched deal where Morton House has ploughed £1.2m into shares in the club.
That was the problem all along; I'm still amazed the Morton House / Andrew Curran gang were conned into parting with proper cash but we all know what that is.

Think it's pretty clear all these wronguns are getting what's coming to them and in some ways already have for those who have spent a fair sum on some worthless shares.

Jade and her carelessness was the reason that the Sun leaked the £12k a month flat given her postings on social media. That brought an angry mob to the door of sale luxury flat of Charlton fans looking to "have a word" with Matthew Southall.
She is almost as bad as Alexander Jarvis when it comes to not giving stuff away.

That house on Leigh Road is very near me, and on various selling sites it states the last transaction recorded was in Mar 2017 and the valuations look massively wrong on Zoopla etc, something doesn't quite add up with it.

Jade Katy is an accomplished WBFF Pro Diva from England. Prior to her career in fitness, Jade worked as an accountant.
She was unhappy with the way her body looked and decided to change this by going to the gym, day after day.
In the process of transformation, Jade left her office job and became a full-time fitness model, and has never looked back since.
More lies I suspect. Seems unlikely that she had completed accountancy training by the age of 19 - accounts clerk more like.
I could be wrong of course, and she might be Bury Grammar School's first child prodigy. Can't remember having seen anything in the Old Girls' Association news to back that up. The Chairman's wife would be able to confirm - she is extremely au fait with such information.
