The best advice I can give anyone is to come off it, your life will improve exponentially. If not, try not to put too much stock in the views of a few kids on Twitter. Anyway, good listen as always. Up The Dale ✌🏼

Yep... I'll be honest, I wouldn't have even known about the reaction had it not been discussed in our pod whatsapp ad nauseum since Monday. Paul blamed Elon Musk but I blame them lot!

It would be unfair to say it’s just kids who overreacted. As mentioned on the podcast, it’s happened whenever we’ve dropped points. There is no Dale fan who has witnessed a side who has been so good at winning football matches. That we are in a division where that might not result in success when the season is over shouldn’t, in my mind, detract from that. (And I’m not someone who says how unfair it is only one goes up automatically, that’s how it is. It was tough on York last year and could be on us this year). If that isn’t good enough for some, fair enough. Personal opinion is fine. It’s doubtful we’ll ever see another season when we win this many games again. The podcast was a very balanced assessment of where we are. Going forward, it’ll be interesting to see how we cope as fanbase when we’re back to being very good/average/poor in terms of getting consistent results. Because this year has been extraordinary.
