Liked at train from blackpool, it’s not too bad a price but it’s 4 changes and little time between changes (9minutes) so no leeway . So driving down it is
I've just booked family advance tickets through Avavti from Piccadilly to Euston for £65.each way. Going out Saturday, returning Monday. Covers 2 adults and up to 3 kids. Crazily cheap compared to the usual tickets. Borrow a child if you need to.
I'm in Matlock Friday night,Saturday, Sunday on a yearly get together with my old school friends. One of them wants to come along too with his son so we are driving to Doncaster Sunday morning, his son is jumping on the London train from Leeds and we are getting on his train at Donny. That gets us into King's Cross just before 12.00 and we'll make our way to Wembley. He's getting the train back to Donny after the game and I'm jumping in a car with another Dale mate home. Simple really! 😜 Hopefully a brilliant weekend.
Its a BRILLIANT goal to cap a BRILLIANT start by Rochdale - Don Goodman 26/08/10
Will be based in Hampshire over the weekend, so shorter drive in, just an hour and half with overnight in Travelodge Sunday, not the Wembley one but free parking, same one as for Spurs game
Driving down Sunday morning to Watford & staying over back on Monday. Did the same for AC/DC & an Uber from Watford is cheaper than a train in for 3 of us & then the walk from the station.
For anyone driving and looking for parking: I recommend parking at Gerrards Cross station. Not far from M40 jct 2. Big car park. And then only one stop to Wembley Stadium on the Chiltern mainline.

Watford met underground to wembley park underground is 22 mins, £2.40 and is nearer to the stadium than the train station.
Evening, Dale, hope you remember us, your allies against the no-mark Southall. We haven't forgotten you, and are crossing fingers and everything else for you at Wembley. We want to see a proper club back in the EFL , not some dorrmitory town club whose "fans" only turn up when they can't get Arsenal or Spurs tickets😉
Nobody ever used the word "invincible" to describe Charlton, but when it comes to Wembley play-offs we are P3, W3, so let us sprinkle a bit of our stardust on you as a good luck charm.Have a great day, enjoy the walk up Wembley Way and see you back in the proper League, where you belong.

What you, in particular, and your colleagues who compiled the most incredible dossier did that helped so much in fight off the wrong uns will always be appreciated by those who worked with you, and many in the wider football community. You helped expose the link between Morton House, Southall and Bottomley. You helped give us confidence in fighting against bad ownership and to find another way. Charlton fans made us so welcome at the Valley in the FA Cup and joined us celebrating when we beat you at Spotland and we stayed up at the expense of Oldham. And on a personal level, the lengths you went to to travel and meet me in Germany 2 years ago will stay with me always
We will always love Charlton Athletic and thank you so much for your best wishes.
