This team always find a way to win, never seen one with such a never die spirit. Everything comes from the manager, i was one of quite a few who doubted he would get us over the line but i'm very happy to be proved wrong. We've never won at Wembley and lifted a trophy in the process. Jim was the mastermind of that and deserves the plaudits.
When the final whistle blew at Stockport to signal the end of our time as a football league club it was touch and go whether we would survive as a club never mind lift a trophy at Wembley a few years later. From near oblivion to what we witnessed today, like a phoenix we have risen from the ashes, it's a modern day footballing miracle really. |  | | |
