What a season!! 18:22 - May 11 with 2207 views100notout

One for TVOS - we've rewritten the record books this season but how many records have we actually broken from the clubs history?

Obviously the highest number of points, highest number of wins, most doubles. There will be many more, What are the others?

Poll: So who do you believe - Hendo or the Board?

To be honest, it's impossible to quantify, as there are probably innumerable stats and milestones you can make into a 'record'.

The following became apparent after the York game:

Highest finish in a division since 1926/27 (2nd in Div 3N)
Most league points (106), beating 82 in 2009/10
Most home points (56), beating 48 in 2013/14
Most away points (50), beating 43 in 2007/08
Most league goals (88) in a season since 92 in 1938/39
Most league wins (33), beating 27 in 1925/26
Joint-most home wins (18), shared with 1926/27
Most away wins (15), beating 12 in 2007/08
40 away goals - only beaten twice before (49 in 1925/26 & 41 in 1946/47) and equalled once (2007/08)
Second-lowest number of league defeats (6), bettered only by 5 in 1923/24

Scored in every home league game of a 23-home game season for the first time
Scored in 44/46 league games, beating previous high of 38
Scored in 21/23 away league games for first time, beating 20 in 2005/06

Joint-most clean sheets (20) in a league season, equalling 1968/69 & 2004/05
Second-highest number of away clean sheets (10), beaten only by 11 in 2004/05

Most league doubles (14) in a season, beating 8 in 2013/14
No team did the double over Dale - first time since 2001/02

Mani D is the first Dale player to score 26+ league goals in a season since Jimmy Wynn with 28 in 1938/39

I hope you can share these with the manager and players. They have been truly remarkable and they should be very very proud. I suspect they probably don't realise how remarkable their achievements have been against the history of our club. Maybe the Mayor will read some of them out tonight.

They were initially produced at the club's request.

Just found another one - 101 goals scored this season in all competitions.

This is only the third time we have passed 100 goals and for the first time since 1926/27.

Admittedly, there are more competitions and opportunities now.
