Interestingly our first 3 fixtures (including the Carabao Cup prelim) is against Tranmere, Newport and Crawley who were in the bottom 5 last season just avoiding relegation. If they've not improved drastically it will be a good indication of where our team is at and should ease us into our new league. |  |

Spent a lot of time with Postecoglou during his coaching career. Could end up being totally wrong, but it may be a good appointment as it moves away from the type of manager they often go for.
There may be plenty of goals at both ends in Salford games next season. |  |
