Don’t think there’s anything wrong with an opinion on a signing if there’s some evidence behind it. ie. Fans may have seen them play before.
To be “underwhelmed” with no knowledge whatsoever means nothing at all.
For reference, I thought Graham Shaw was a terrible signing after seeing him previously and based on his record. Others can decide whether that was a fair opinion to hold at the time.
Don’t think that having an opinion without any prior knowledge isn’t allowed, it’s that it should be expected to be debated and called out by people who may disagree. Maybe there’s something we aren’t aware of about Jenkins that supports any negative comments,, yet to see it though. South Shields fans give him a glowing reference. |  |
