I certainly don't profess to having more than a passing interest in boxing, but it really does look like someone coming back years after his best for a final payday or two.
The biggest concern would be for his health, what someone gets away with in their younger days with eating and drinking to excess, is not as easy to overcome 5 years later. |  |

Yes, just been on the news. Father was arrested for assaulting Ricky but the matter was sorted out by him (Dad) receiving a Police caution.
More family harmony in the Hatton camp. Perhaps Dad was (rightly) distraught at the thought of Ricky getting mauled and was frustrated at being unable to dissuade his son. Perhaps Ricky was saying 'I don't care what you think, I'm doing it'.
