Any news on the pitch? on 11:43 - Jan 20 with 3416 views | EllDale | I'll echo that massive vote of thanks. Can set off over the M62 soon.
Any news on the pitch? on 11:57 - Jan 20 with 3318 views | 442Dale | Well done to everyone who helped out. Obviously did the trick as the pitch must be perfectly playable or the club would have communicated that there would be an inspection planned. It’s reassuring to all fans travelling, including those traipsing up from deepest Essex.

Any news on the pitch? on 12:23 - Jan 20 with 3002 views | 442Dale | The biggest worry here is that a morning of rain there is a doubt. We got covers in to protect the pitch from rain: https://www.rochdaleafc.co.uk/news/2018/january/pitch-update_jan-2018/ So despite now having those, taking them off and leaving it open to rain for a few hours means the playing surface is affected to the extent there is a doubt over the game. If this game is called off, serious thought has to be given to replacing the pitch as we did last season. If not, expect every game to be in doubt when there’s rain, even with covers to protect the surface during the week.

I think this happened last time they dumped a load of sand on the pitch - it ends up clogging up the drains and you get water logging.

Absolutely embarrassing. It's a joke this club this season.

Everything the club do, they fcuk it up big time. The pitch is worst then I've ever seen it,

Any news on the pitch? on 12:37 - Jan 20 with 2765 views | dawlishdale | Really annoying. No hint of this from the club. The way they treat fans has gone to ratshite these past 2 years. 6 hours up the awful motorway for nothing. Probably won't bother coming up for a Tuesday night rearranged game now, so more money wasted. Hope the Trust bring the pitch up when the poor sods meet with the ever more useless Directors.
Any news on the pitch? on 12:39 - Jan 20 with 2722 views | BlueDales | As another poster alluded to here, the pitch is an embarrassment. How do we expect to play League One quality football on a Sunday league pitch? Newport County had a shocker of a pitch a while back, ended up with a backlog of fixtures and dropped down the league table. For us, that'd mean relegation.

The pitch is amongst the questions sent to the Trust. The communication around this situation today has been extremely poor. Just seen the OS story, how hard is it to apologise for any inconvenience caused. [Post edited 20 Jan 2018 12:43]

Any news on the pitch? on 12:47 - Jan 20 with 2628 views | SalwaDale | Any idea whether any of this can be down to anything the staff at the club do? Over recent years we seem to have had periods where the pitch has been magnificent and period where it has been thoroughly awful.

Any news on the pitch? on 12:49 - Jan 20 with 2615 views | Sandyman | Rotten for travelling supporters of both teams. Given the weather this week, there must have been some suspicion yesterday that the game could be off? RAFC. Financially well run. Looking a bit micky mouse in far too many other departments.
Any news on the pitch? on 12:56 - Jan 20 with 2547 views | rich_dale | If Accy game goes ahead it shows how bad the situation is. Hornets haven't even started playing regularly yet.
Any news on the pitch? on 13:23 - Jan 20 with 2424 views | EllDale | They played on it twice in four days last week. Friendly matches. There was a window perhaps after the Lincoln game to relay the pitch again but I remember reading that Hornets were grateful for the chance to play, presumably to help their cashflow.
