The biggest worry here is that a morning of rain there is a doubt. We got covers in to protect the pitch from rain: https://www.rochdaleafc.co.uk/news/2018/january/pitch-update_jan-2018/
So despite now having those, taking them off and leaving it open to rain for a few hours means the playing surface is affected to the extent there is a doubt over the game.
If this game is called off, serious thought has to be given to replacing the pitch as we did last season. If not, expect every game to be in doubt when there’s rain, even with covers to protect the surface during the week. | |

Really annoying. No hint of this from the club. The way they treat fans has gone to ratshite these past 2 years.
6 hours up the awful motorway for nothing. Probably won't bother coming up for a Tuesday night rearranged game now, so more money wasted.

There was a window perhaps after the Lincoln game to relay the pitch again but I remember reading that Hornets were grateful for the chance to play, presumably to help their cashflow. | | | |
