Is this who we want to win or we think will win. Would like Shrewsbury to win, but got horrible feeling that Rotherham will win. To be honest though, won’t lose any sleep on any result.
Not something you'd ever hear in the past, but I'm hoping Rotherham win as trips there are much better than to Shrewsbury now. Moving from Gay Meadow made Shrewsbury just like any other away game, one which is far more awkward than in the past. Going to the NYS has always been good, a unique away end and we always do well there.

Until next season, obviously.
Why are you wanting Rotherham to win if you enjoy the trips there??

Senior moment? Or some socks-related factor?
It's hard to find much of a Dale angle. Possibly that Rotherham would bring more fans. But it would be satisfying to see the smaller side, not fancied at the start of the season, in the Championship.
Recent form suggests something like 3-1 to Rotherham.

26,218 crowd : a record low for a league 1 play off final.
The talk sport commentary team were questioning those numbers throughout. Far more there. Dale V Stockport had more on the gate than 26,000, and there were (allegedly) 24,000 when we played Spurs at Wembley in the blizzard. Lots more there today - and remember, in the early days of t'internet, Rotherham were taking crowds in excess of 200,000,000 to Torquay on a wet Tuesday night in February Yes, even more than Oldham. Don't think they ever claimed to "take a town" though.
