The last time Ryan Lowe was here in February, he had a proper whinge about our pitch frustrated by the Crown Oil Arena playing surface in drawing 0-0.
He was quoted as saying "The pitch here is not very good."
(Ryan - our ex-CEO will have told you that he had spent a lot of time, money and pride putting that standard of pitch on for you!)
Just so you know Ryan, next Sunday is a celebration for us. A party if you will.
Not only of being in Round 2 of the FA Cup but of our entire club, being on the TV after the events of a busy Summer. To ensure you enjoy this visit we want to let you know:
1) We're digging up our pitch for you to make sure its full of divots. 2) Telling you the weather forecast for Sunday is not great. It's going to be another afternoon of it being freezing cold and swirling winds. 3) Noting it's quite a long way for you lads to travel. The M5 and M6 are a nightmare apparently. Set off early. 4) Plymouth are the MASSIVE favourites. (Betfred have you at 11/10 and us at 23/10 with the draw at 5/2). No one expects us to win or get a replay. 5) It's on ITV - because you're expected to beat us comfortably.
