I always remember being at high school , and some of the white girls used to always get picked up from school in taxis. They were the same girls who were always came in, caked in slap. And were always grown up, much more than us lads.
So if us kids off kirkholt saw it, why didnt the parents? or the people in charge, Social services etc? see it ????
Was talking to an asian lad about this a few months ago. Yeah he is a muslim, doesnt go to mosque, and moved from bradford to wakefield, coz he was sick of some of the stuff going on in bradford.
He was saying, if you are in an arranged marriage, the wife is just a baby maker. He was saying thats the majority, not the minority,
Some of the muslim lads see white english girls as trophies, and they use and abuse them as they are easy. ie, Get them drunk. Thats how they justify it.Plus they have no respect for them because they are white and non muslim.
He was also saying the muslim community never spoke up, as they were terrified of "come back" and family honour...Shocking

Because in this case, which the TV programme was about, it was a Pakistani grooming gang which was committing the crimes hence his reference to Muslims. If you look at the facts, you will find in all the reported cases of grooming gangs they are predominantly Pakistani in their make up.
All sexual offenses are heinous and most are committed by white males. In the case of grooming gangs, which is a specific issue in its own right males from Pakistani backgrounds are significantly over represented in relation to demographics of this country.
The sad parts to this story are that it is still going on in every town and city in the country where there is a sizeable Pakistani population and that it has been/is been covered up in the name of political correctness and in exchange for votes. [Post edited 17 May 2017 12:49]

Completely agree. Today too many people are scared of "saying it like it is" for fear of being pulled up as a) A Bully b) A Bigot c) A Sexist. I think I've covered all the perceived bases there. At no point does the OP post what looks like racist remarks to me because as others have replied the Muslim element comes into it only because that's the context of the programme |  |

It was shocking to see Social Services threaten to confiscate a child at the moment of birth, rather than treat the mother as a victim of abuse. No wonder many of the girls were reluctant to come forward.
Despite serious initial failings, the Telegraph article does make it clear, correctly, that the failure to prosecute earlier was entirely the decision of the CPS. That was despite there being sufficient to secure convictions, as events subsequently proved.
Only when the Asian head of the CPS reversed that decision and took the defendants to Court, was a string of convictions and lengthy sentences secured. |  |

Jesus wept. The post is aimed at a section of the muslim community because that's who was at fault in this case. Whoever commits a crime, whatever race, gender or whatever should be open to as much comeback from people as people see fit. Just because it's the asian community in question for this crime doesn't mean we have to go all defensive in case, god forbid, we might offend people.

Whilst being very clear about all types of crime and who the perpretators are, I can't say I was at all shocked by the drama, simply because it's not only common knowledge but imo hasn't (so far) gone far enough in portraying the extent of the abuse of white girls by mainly pakistani males
I believe the second episode tonight is going to take that further
It's been happening in plain sight for a very long time, and whilst the abuse was undertaken by asian males it's the white liberal establishment that's allowed it to happen for so long. The recent political backlash against the establishment is, I believe in part, due to it's guilt-ridden failure to accept that different cultures have very different standards and values which are inimical to our way of life
The producers and actors in this drama (including, I might add, the asian actors) deserve all the awards that may well be coming their way. As I say, I really hope the final two episodes deliver the true extent of it

Yes there's a cultural element here - but not a religious one (as episode 3 will show). Sara Rowbotham (The Sexual Health Worker) is now a Rochdale Councillor. Her analysis (and she'll know better than any of us) is that there was no 'pc' refusal to avoid the truth; the Police had no problems arresting British Asian speeding motorists, shoplifters, burglars, drug dealers etc etc. The problem was the assumption by all agencies that 13 year old girls weren't being abused, they were making 'life choices' to be 'child prostitutes' ie there was no crime to prosecute! And if they did prosecute they'd be 'unreliable' witnesses and wouldn't be believed - just as happened in the end in the Ched Evans case!!
What's harrowing is how we've created a society where thousands of young girls (and boys) have so little self-esteem that they can be groomed with a few smiles and trinkets.
Maybe also it's the result of the modern obsession with microscopic specialisation - one agency saw he was wearing no socks, one saw no shirt, one saw no trousers ... but none saw the Emperor was naked! | |

I would agree that it is a cultural issue. The vast majority of perpetrators of child grooming in Rochdale and across the country are from the same area of Pakistan. Obviously not all Muslim males are child groomers but it is a serious problem within certain communities.
As for the pc element in covering up the incidents and the scale MPs and councillors in places such as Keighley and Rotherham have admitted, which is well documented online that racial sensitivities prevented investigations in these areas for years. The real irony is that it took a Muslim male to decide to prosecute some of the perpetrators in Rochdale. | | | |
