Some signs of balance 20:15 - Nov 19 with 377 viewskirbys

Today Dale showed more all round effectiveness than many a match this season. The side had some balance instead of the one sided attack formations and weaknesses in defence.
Whilst it is early days, there was a good spirit in the side and that can sometimes get you a result - today was an example.
The introduction of Bergkamp helped. He is never going to match his uncles twinkle toed performances and he was buffeted around all afternoon today but stuck to the task occupying two defenders thus giving a little more freedom to those around him.
As we all know defensively we have been frail so it was with some trepidation that Neil Mellor came on as a first half sub for Preston, but fairs fair, Jordon, Holden and in the air Marc Holness handled him pretty well.
Midfield worked very hard today and to good effect; the pick for me once more was JK. Winning in the air and distributing well to the front men.
Harry Bunn looks the real deal and is going to excite us with his effort and skill. if we see Adams take it up as we know he can then results will follow.

Someway to go - sure but the first signs at home to Orient when we played good stuff but lost is a sign of progress, long may it continue.
Dale fans were awesome today.
