All roads lead to Rossendale this Saturday or something like that, as Dale play their first pre-season friendly on English soil, when they go to take on that other Lancastrian team called Dale.

The game at Rossendale has become something of an annual event for the Dales, as we troop up to Dark Lane as a thank you for the use of Rossendale's ground for our reserve team.

It will be the first opportunity for Dale supporters to see the likes of Keltie, Shaw, Toner and Wiseman in action since they joined the club in the Summer.

Entry to Dark Lane will cost £5 for grown ups, and concessions are also available. That entrance fee will get you anywhere inside the ground.

Last year saw our version of Dale pick up an unconvincing 1-0 win with Kallum Higginbotham grabbing the winner, with trialist Jerome Watt standing out for ourselves. Which probably goes to show that no matter what happens not to read too much into it.
