Safe Journey to the Yellow Army Friday, 17th Dec 2010 13:12 There is no need to ask if the weather will prevent any of the Norwich Faithful from trying to get to Coventry tomorrow. If there is so much as room for one lane of traffic, it will be full of Canary Coaches and Cars. One unsettling piece of news is that Paul Lambert will assess the fitness of one un-named player due to illness prior to the match. That does not bode well. To remain unnamed can only mean it is a player that is influential in each match. Hopes must be that the player in question isn't Grant Holt. Holt missed the Portsmouth game through suspension and, despite the assurances of everybody else, his absence was noticeable. If it is Simon Lappin then we will be under the cosh finding cover for the left back position. Adam Drury is reported to be the closest to a return to fitness among the long-term injury lists, but with Stephen Smith still sidelined it could well mean that an opportunity will open up for academy graduate, Sam Habergham to make his debut in the first team.
