Former Dale boss sacked
Former Dale boss sacked

Former Dale manager John Hollins has been sacked from his position as manager of Conference side Weymouth after allegedly breaching his contract.

Hollins was suspended in November by Weymouth, whilst they mounted an inquiry into these alleged breaches of contract by Hollins who led Dale to the Play Offs in the 2001-2 season.

The breaches of contract seem to relate to an approach made to make Hollins the manager of Woking, though Weymouth have followed this up with other allegations against the former Arsenal and Chelsea midfielder.

Since leaving Dale, he had a spell at Stockport and at Crawley before being appointed at Weymouth in January of this year.
