Refwatch Preview: Darlington (a) Wednesday, 3rd Dec 2008 20:08 With Dale travelling up to the North East this weekend weather permitting, we look at the man held responsible for officiating the game between Dale and Darlo - Oliver Langford from the West Midlands. First year official Oliver Langford makes the ridiculous journey up from the West Midlands to officiate at the Darlington Arena on Saturday.
This will be both teams’ second meeting with Mr Langford this season. His first Football League game was at Spotland on 16th August, when Dale defeated Barnet 3-1, while three weeks later he took charge of Darlington’s 2-1 loss at Aldershot.
Most recently, Oliver was the referee for Eastwood Town’s shock FA Cup victory over Wycombe last weekend.
And that’s it!
