Those who like their music as well as football will now be able to combine both.

The Joiners Arms in St Mary's Street is a Southampton instituition, its easier to list the great Britsih bands of the last two decades that didnt play there as they hit the road to fame and fortune, than the ones that did, Coldplay, Oasis, Primal Scream have all graced the compact back room at some point.

Now the pub has decided to open its doors before Saints games for Saints supporters who like a bit of a decent soundtrack to their pre match pint, not to mention its close proximity to the Stadium being only a 5 minute walk or so.

The pub will be open at noon until kick off time so why not pop along and sample the atmosphere.
