James Linington resides on the Isle of Wight, so it’s fair to say he has to make something of a trek for each match.
That has definitely been the case for some of his games this season, as the Football League have kindly sent him to places like Notts County, Port Vale, Shrewsbury and Chesterfield.
James has also been to Luton already this term, as he was in the middle for their 2-1 home loss to Darlington in October.
Now approaching the end of his debut season on the league list, James’ only previous Dale game was at Barnet in the FA Cup in November.
