Dale make Play Offs
Dale make Play Offs

Dale have made the Play Offs for the second season in succession after securing the point required at Luton on Saturday.

This will be the third time in our history that we have made the Play Offs, two of which have come under manager Keith Hill. All that was required was a point going into the game at Luton and that was achieved thanks to a goal from Adam Rundle.

In other divisional ups and downs, Brentford secured their promotion with a 3-1 victory over 10 men Darlington, whilst Chester were relegated following their failure to win at Aldershot.

Wycombe require just a point to be mathematically certain of promotion from next week's home game with Notts County. Should they lose, it would require an Exeter victory at Rotherham and a Bury victory over Accrington Stanley.  For them to miss out, either Bury or Wycombe would have to win by two clear goals.

Exeter will be promoted should they win at in form Rotherham next weekend. If they don't do that, they will need to match Bury's result. Should Bury achieve a better result than Exeter next weekend, then it will be the Shakers who are up.

In terms of the Play Offs, it is between Dagenham and Shrewsbury for that 7th place. The two sides play each other next weekend, with Shrewsbury requiring victory to snatch 7th place.
