Premiership side Everton are the first visitors to Spotland the 2009-10 pre-season campaign as David Moyes brings a strong squad with him to take on Dale.

For us, it'll be another opportunity to give the whole squad a run out following the 1-0 win over Radcliffe during the week. The only absentees will be Rory McArdle who isn't due back for a couple of months and Clarke Keltie  who is on the "please find another club" list.

Supporters will get another chance to see current trialists Nathan Woolfe and Dali Gomez, both of whom came through the Radcliffe friendly with favourable reviews.

All the indications are that Everton are sending a very strong squad over for this game. Their reserves are playing Airbus UK today so the reserves / youths will be involved there meaning that it won't be far off the full squad for the Toffees.

The Everton squad has been listed as Nash, Turner, Ruddy, Coleman, Baines, Duffy, Hibbert, McCarten, Mustafi, Lescott, Wallace, Neville, Akpan, Cahill, Peterlin, Osman, Baxter, Agard, Jo, Vaughan, Jutkiewicz, Saha. The only ones missing for Everton will be Tim Howard, Joseph Yobo, and Steven Pienarr who have all been involved in international duty over the Summer.

Entry to Spotland will be £12 for adults, £6 for concessions and £2500 for Arab billionaires looking at eyeing up the Everton talent.  This will apply in all areas of the ground.

Kick off is as you'd expect at 3pm.
