Rochdale Supporters Trust is holding its Annual General Meeting on Thursday 1 October at Spotland Stadium in the Howarth's Timber Lounge (formerly Horners Lounge).

Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8.00pm start.

The Trust Board election result will be announced and the new board unveiled to members.

Trust members will be presented with a full set of audited accounts for the 2008/09 season.

The Trust Chairman and Secretary shall give their reports to members. Rob Bradley from Trust governing body Supporters Direct shall be the guest speaker, while the board will update members on the Bowlee project and upcoming events for this season. There will be a chance for members to raise any other business and to ask questions of the board.

As well as going through the requirements of the Trust’s constitution, fans will also get a preview of some of the exciting plans the Trust has in store for this season.

Trust members are asked to bring with them their membership cards for voting purposes.

There are two votes to take place on the night:

The Supporters Trust board proposes that the capacity of the board is increased to 20 to enable the Trust to take advantage of individuals with specific additional skills which will allow it to operate more effectively.

The board proposes that the amount of money that the Trust can spend on any one item/project without having to hold a member’s EGM to have that sum sanctioned be increased to £5000.

Details of individuals nominated to vote by proxy on behalf of any member and/or votes cast on the motions in question, should be submitted, either by mail to Rochdale Supporters Trust, PO Box 1907, Rochdale, Lancashire OL16 9EX or by email to secretary@daletrust.org.uk by Monday 28 September 2009.
