Arsenal Away Ticket Clarification
Arsenal Away Ticket Clarification

There seems to be some confusion amongst Saints supporters as to how the tickets for Arsenal on September 15th are going to be allocated, here is the sp.

Some Saints supporters seem to be a tad confused and in some respects concerned about the Arsenal selling details, after a quick visit to the box office we at TUI have the definitive details.

The confusion arises with the official site stating that the first tranche of tickets go on sale to those that have attended/purchased  tickets for the opening three league fixtures, this lead some to believe that for those tickets on sale from this morning, season ticket holders are excluded and its only those who have purchased individual match tickets for those opening trio of fixtures.

This is not the case, season ticket holders are automatically accredited with points for the opening two home games, so from today Arsenal tickets are on sale to either season ticket holders who bought a Man City ticket, or membership holders (Ie customer numbers) who have bought both Wigan & Man United plus Man City.

Tickets remain on sale to personal callers as well as on line until midday on Saturday, after that they can also be bought on line only till Monday 27th August.

From Tuesday 28th August until 5pm Thursday 30th, its the turn of season ticket holders only who didnt purchase Man City.

From Friday 31st August members who have bought two of the three opening fixtures in any combination have their chance both at the ticket office and on line till 5pm on Sunday 2nd September, after that any tickets left will be on a general sale.

It should be noted that the only category guaranteed a ticket will be those who are in the first tranche ie tickets for all three games (45 points) with 2,800 tickets available for the Emirates and only around 2,000 sold for Man City, everyone who went to City and has tickets for the first two home games will be fine for an Arsenal ticket, if everyone takes up their entitlement somewhere between 400- 800 tickets could be available to season ticket holders on Tuesday.

I'm an expat currently working in Canada - i am back in Blighty for 2 weeks and this game is the only saints match on. Obviously not being around for most of the year im not a season ticket holder, so what do u reckon the chances are of me getting a couple of tickets for this game are, once the general ticket line is open?

To be blunt I would say the chances of tickets still being available by about noon next tuesday when season ticket holders get their chance are slim, do you know anyone here who is a season ticket holder

Its like our transfer policy, its a mess. We are good at alot of things, but the management of allocating/selling tickets and the way we handle player purchase/transfer are areas where we are woefully poor.

As a season ticket holder who also went to City away, I managed to buy an AFC ticket easily online yesterday. The season ticket holder who I went to City with also bought his yesterday, and was able to buy one for a season ticket holder friend of ours linked to his account, and he didn't go to the City away game?

So although Nick is right about the theory of how the system is supposed to work for the Arsenal match, the reality it seems is very different!?
