Spireites boss banned for Saturday
Spireites boss banned for Saturday

Saturday's opponents Chesterfield will have to make do without the services of their manager on Saturday, as he starts a three match suspension.

Sheridan picked up a three match touchline ban in midweek after an FA charge for comments that he made following a 2-2 draw with Burton Albion, and that ban will commence this weekend. It is Sheridan's second touchline ban of the season, having previously served a two match ban.

Sheridan has enjoyed mixed fortunes at Chesterfield this season, with form being very inconsistent. But they remain in the Play Off picture, and with victory on Saturday, they could see themselves back with an eye on automatic promotion.

It was Sheridan who originally signed Chris O'Grady for Oldham before farming him out on a number of loan moves.
