First year referee Peter Quinn will travel down from the North-East on Saturday to take charge of his our crucial fixture at Saltergate. This will be our second meeting with Mr Quinn this season as he was the referee for the 2-1 home defeat of Torquay on a scorching hot day back in September.
The diminutive official has also refereed Chesterfield already this term, overseeing their 5-1 win at Burton in the JPT and the 3-2 home loss to Crewe in League Two.
Altogether in his debut season, Peter has refereed 20 games, all of them in the lower leagues and cup competitions.
He has shown 50 yellow cards and four red, with his biggest card-fest coming at Crewe v Northampton at the end of February where seven players were cautioned.
However, no players were cautioned in his last outing, which was the League One game between Wycombe and Exeter a fortnight ago.
