Speculation Says We Have Our Man?

Speculation Says We Have Our Man?

After over two months of speculation it appears that Lee Trundle will sign for the club tomorrow morning on a free transfer from Wrexham. The player that has kept the 'will he or won't he' saga running through most of the close season appears to have finally made up his mind that his future lies at Swansea City.

After a visit to the Vetch last week and promising a decision today fans were left disappointed by no announcement from the club. But after reading postings speculating over a 9am press conference tomorrow morning at the Vetch maybe we have had that decision and are just waiting to announce it tomorrow morning which of course would also allow the local press to have the story ahead of the Cardiff based media (I've seen that one happen before!)

The signing of Lee Trundle would be a massive coup for the board and management of the club and full credit will have to be given to all elements if indeed it is the case.

Again though we should not rest on our laurels if indeed we have gained this signature as there are still gaps in the squad that need to be filled and I await the name of the two loan players with interest that has been mentioned by Brian Flynn. It would not surprise me if one of those turned out to be Alan Tate as we still need cover at the back.

There is no doubt that Swans fans will be tuning in on-line tomorrow to wait the news from the Vetch so sleep well and see what Father Christmas may bring you.

All I ever wanted Santa was a Lee Trundle!
