Swansea City have confirmed the signing of Fedo Bessone

The last part of the previous sentence has almost become one of the buzz phrases of the summer from the Liberty with nobody knowing the length of the contract or exactly what the performance related part entails.  But in truth I suspect not too many people worry about it so long as they do the business on the field and Bessone arrives in Swansea with a pedigree that suggests he will do just that.

He began his career at Barcelona before moving to Espanyol B where he played along side Guillem Bauza.  Last season he was on loan at Gimnastic where the official site tells us he was spotted by Chief Scout Kevin Reeves who in turn alerted Roberto to the player's ability

"We are delighted to be able to bring in a player that will give the squad a different and added dimension,'' explained Roberto via the official site.

"He is an attacking left-sided player that we've been following for a long time. He will fit into the British game well and has shown a great desire to sign for Swansea.''
