Monk: When We Get One We'll Get A Hatful

Garry Monk believes that the Swans only need one goal to kick start a goal glut for the team

The Swansea City captain returned from his suspension on Saturday to lead the side to a point at Oakwell - a point that many observers noted was unfortunate to be their only reward.

It was the fifth time the side had drawn a blank in eight league outings to date leaving them as the lowest scorers in the division and sitting in 20th place.

But Monk remains optimistic that it is just a matter of time as he told BBC Sport "We should have scored, we created enough chances

"We're making good positions and not getting the luck. We're progressing, when one goes in we'll get a hat full.

"I'm happy with another clean sheet, that always gives us a chance in a game," added the centre-back.

"The team are defending brilliantly from front to back.

"We've got to get that home win

"Sheffield United are on a great run. They'll be tough, but they are brilliant games to play in.

"We were looking forward to it as soon as the [Barnsley] game ended."
