Brendan Rodgers has called on his side to give him one more top notch home performance this season

The Swansea City manager will want the victory over Nottingham Forest on Monday night that will take his team to Wembley on May 30 for the Championship play off final.

The Swans have the best home record in the division and go into the game as clear favourites having drawn the opening leg 0-0 on Thursday despite playing for all bar the first minute with ten men.

Brendan told the Evening Post "On Monday night we have just got to go and do what we have done all season

"That means dominating the game with the ball, scoring goals and defending well. It's as simple as that.

"There are different pressures and different emotions in these games," Rodgers added.

"I told the players I was very proud of the way they performed at Forest, but I stressed that it's only half-time and we've got a tough second leg ahead of us.

"Forest have fast players who can hurt you on the break and they will make it really tough for us."

Rodgers hopes a capacity Liberty crowd will have an impact on what is comfortably the biggest fixture in the stadium's short history.

"There will be 20,000 in there — it will be packed to the rafters — but it will feel like 50,000

"We have put ourselves in a good position going into the second leg and that's all we wanted to do," Rodgers said.

"We have got big confidence at home, but we are certainly not arrogant and we are not disrespecting anyone.

"The pitch is set up for us. It is a fast pitch, which means we can pass the ball and move and control the game.

"But we are well aware that it's going to be one hell of a night."
