Garry Monk was in no doubt that the Swans had thrown away two points after the 2-2 draw at Wolves

Monk said after the game "It's two points dropped," said Monk. "Over the game we were superb, and it was the reaction we wanted from last week's defeat at Norwich.

"But in the end it was a case of naivety from us. We played short, quick free-kicks when we should have slowed it down and played the percentage game more.

"But we will learn from that.

"We have our first away point and that's the positive we can take from that game."

He added: "Their first goal gave them a lift and we didn't deal with that as well as we should have.

"We played so well for 80 minutes and 98 per cent of people in that stadium thought we would have had a tonking - but we showed that we can come to places like this and compete.

We have to realise that if we're in a situation like that again then we have to slow the game down and maybe not play the way we usually do."
