The RochdaleAFC.com Prediction League is back with us for what we reckon is its fifteenth season on the trot, and if you've never played before, you'll have no idea what you are missing out on.

It's incredibly simple. We have a game, and you do your very best to predict what the score is going to be. Not only that, we want you to predict which Dale player (if any) will be our first scorer in the game.

Points are awarded in the following way: If you predict the result of a match accurately (eg. 3-1) you get 3 points plus a bonus of the number of goals in that game (eg. 3+1 = bonus of 4). Otherwise, if you just correctly predict the outcome correctly (ie. home win, draw or away win) you get one point. Finally, if you guess the correct first scorer for your team then you get 2 points.

And if like myself, you start off with the Prediction League then start forgetting as the season moves on, then this year we have the answer to your dreams - or at least something that help with that particular issue,

As part of the new look site, there is a setting within the Prediction League where you can have it remind you on the day of each game to make that Prediction. And if you don't want a reminder, you simply turn that setting off.

You can change your prediction as many times as you like up until kick off, so even last minute change of first scorer on Saturday when team news filters through are allowed.
