Wanyama To Return To Squad For Arsenal Game ? Monday, 27th Jan 2014 20:55 Mauricio Pochettino has revealed that Victor Wanyama could return to the squad for the visit of Arsenal on Tuesday night. Speaking at his pre match press conference Saints manager Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that Wanyama has come through training over the last week or so and could return to the squad for the visit of the Gunners. However it is more likely that Wanyama will play a bigger part in the trip to Fulham on Saturday than he will on Tuesday after what has been an almost two month lay off. However the Saints boss would reveal no more than the Kenyan could be in the squad and may get some minutes on the pitch, suggesting that he would not be gambling by throwing in the midfielder from the start. He also commented on Rickie Lambert saying that it would be a late decision on the strikers fitness and it may be that he may have to settle for a place on the bench. Artur Boruc however does look set to return, his omission from the game against Yeovil was more precautionary after suffering a back injury at Sunderland and hopefully with the extra days recuperation the Polish glovesman should be fit to take his place in between the posts.
