All the signs are that Keith Hill is not just building a squad for League One, but is putting together a squad that will be around for years as three key first team players have signed contact extensions.

Bastien Hery, Jamie Allen and Ollie Lancashire have all signed extensions to their current deals which was due to run out next Summer. By signing the new deals, all three will be at Spotland until the minimum of the 2016.

Not only that, the deals that have been signed by Hery and Allen include a clause for a further twelve months, meaning that in reality, the midfield duo have signed three year deals should the club wish.
